A bespoke portfolio for New York-based fashion designer and creative director Jonathan de Lagarde. Built entirely in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no frameworks. AI tools were integrated throughout production — accelerating development, generating design system documentation, and iterating on interaction logic.

Process

Jonathan provided archival product photography from each collection. Working from those references, AI image generation was used to cast and place models — selecting silhouette, pose, and styling to best communicate each project's identity. Each look was built around one key piece per collection, shot from a consistent perspective to create visual cohesion across the full lineup.

The final line-up was then run through AI video generation to produce 360° rotation sequences for each model — giving the static imagery motion and depth, and forming the scrollable 3D stage at the center of the site experience.

The experience centers on a 3D perspective scroll where model videos recede into depth as the user moves through the page. Clicking any model transitions into a split-panel project view — video on the left, scrollable imagery on the right — with keyboard navigation between projects. The about page is a full-screen editorial photo with a cursor-following bio block. A custom frosted glass design system, noise texture overlays, and a bespoke cursor run throughout.
